 ⋒ About polymer clay

Most of my earrings are made with polymer clay. If this material is new to you, I recommend reading this information.

Polymer clay is extremely lightweight, durable, water resistant, and even slightly bendable when cured properly. This makes it ideal for earrings! Even big dangles, and statement pieces are very light, and comfortable to wear.

However, handling your pieces with care is still advised.

When wearing and cleaning: use your brain and do not bend or drop the pieces.
Avoid contact with make-up, perfume, hair products, and water, and do not expose a piece to extreme pressure.

Care instructions for all earrings

Clean off makeup or dirt from clay earrings by gently going over the spots with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol or some water with a mild soap.

The wooden earrings are coated with a protective layer of varnish which should make cleaning more easy and safe. Use some water with a bit of mild soap and a Q-tip to clean any spots. Gently pat dry after.

Acrylic is strong, but not indestructible. Acrylic can be prone to scratching. Always use a very soft cloth when cleaning your acrylic pieces.
Make sure to be extra careful with mirrored acrylic, and don't use any alcohol-based cleaners on this material.

Store all earrings in a jewelry box or a dry, and safe place to prevent them from breaking or getting scratched on the surface. Always transport the earrings in a box, to minimize the risk of breaking them.

Keep the earrings away from direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures.
As always, jewelry is not a toy. Keep your pieces away from pets and kids due to small parts which could pose a choking hazard.
