Give your clay creations a finishing touch with a matte glaze. Sculpey Satin Glaze provides a smooth finish to seal your clay, cover imperfections, and create a compatible surface for colored clay paints and finishes.

Twist the cap for precise flow control. Offers a durable seal or finish for baked clay items. Compatible with acrylic water-based finishes. Apply thin coats and allow 30 minutes of drying time between layers. Air dry for 24 hours. To thin, add a few drops of water and stir gently. Beautiful matte finish.

Tips for using Sculpey Satin Glaze:

• Stir the glaze gently and do not shake the bottle to avoid air bubbles.
• Avoid applying Sculpey® Satin Glaze too thickly on your projects, as it may start to peel.
• Add a few drops of water to achieve the desired consistency if the Sculpey® Satin Glaze becomes too thick.
• Apply two to three thin layers instead of one thick layer. Let each layer dry for 30 minutes.
• Twist the cap for precise control of the amount; open halfway for detailed work.
• Satin Glaze meets ASTM D-4236 and EN 71 safety standards, making it non-toxic and safe for use.
